Sweet & Sour Meatballs

Sweet & Sour Meatballs

Ingredients:

1 lb. lean ground beef

½ cup oatmeal

1egg

½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

1 cup ketchup

1 tbsp soya sauce

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup vinegar

¾ cup water

1 tbsp cornstarch

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix together ground beef, oatmeal, egg, salt and pepper.

3. Form meatballs and bake on a lined cookie sheet for 30 minutes or until meatballs are cooked thoroughly.

4. While meatballs bake - bring ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar and ½ cup water to boil over medium high heat.

5. In cup mix cornstarch and ¼ cup of water; and pour into sauce.

6. Whisk soya sauce into mixture

7. Place meatballs in a casserole dish and cover with sweet and sour sauce

8. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees
