Broccoli Slaw
It's Victoria Day and you know what that means...BBQ! Whether your having chicken, beef, pork or fish this slaw is a great side.
From my kitchen to yours:
Broccoli Slaw
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups fresh bean sprouts
1 (16 ounce) package broccoli slaw mix
1 large carrot, shredded
1/2 purple cabbage, shredded
4 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp ground black pepper
1 tsp chili powder 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup olive oil mayonnaise 1/4 cup sour cream 2 tbsp white vinegar 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 3 tbsp sesame seeds, salted
Directions:
1. In a small bowl whisk together sugar, pepper, chili powder, milk, mayo, sour cream, vinegar, and lemon juice.
2. In a seperate bowl mix together the broccoli slaw mix, carrot, and cabbage.
3. Add slaw sauce and mix together a little bit at a time to your desired creaminess.
4. Store in the fridge until chilled.
5. Top with bean sprouts and sesame seeds at the time of serving.
